Late to Appointment/Cancellation
In order to provide the highest quality care, your appointment time is reserved specifically for your child. If you are running late please call our office to let us know. If you are more than 15 mins late we may need to reschedule your appointment.
If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice by phone.
Financial Information
Insurance
We are in-network with a number of select PPO’s. Your insurance is an agreement between the insurance company and yourself, and you are financially responsible for all treatment rendered regardless of insurance coverage. As a courtesy, we are happy to verify eligibility and submit claims on your behalf. We want to remain transparent with our patients, and will provide a pre-treatment estimate. If you have any questions regarding insurance payments please contact your insurance company directly.
No insurance pays 100% – Most insurances will cover the majority of preventative care and provide only partial coverage for other services at a lower percentage. In addition, there are deductibles and co-payments that are your responsibility. All insurances have an annual maximum amount, once that is reached you will pay for any additional costs for the remainder of the benefit period.
Your benefits are set by your insurance, and NOT by our office – We do not determine what your insurance will cover and how much of the claim they will pay. If you are not satisfied with the amount that your insurance has paid then you will need to contact your insurance company directly.
Payment
Payment is due at time of service for all patients. We accept most forms of payment such as personal checks, cash, and most major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. The payment provided to you on your child’s treatment plan is an estimate, therefore you will be responsible for any differences between what your insurance pays and the total incurred costs.
Financing
In cases where extensive dental care is needed, our office is willing to provide you with financing options, such as CareCredit. Signing up with CareCredit gives you the option of breaking up the cost into smaller payments spread over time. Please contact CareCredit to find out more information.
